L'Amuse Chez Kate is situated in Penmaen, just 5 minutes drive from Gower Accommodation in Parkmill.  It overlooks the breathtaking Three Cliffs Bay. Kate opens the doors of her home where you will be guided through the cookery course, sampling the delights of your creations whilst taking in the anecdotes and worldly experience of Kate’s extensive international catering career.

Kate has an incredible passion for food and innovative cuisine which is evident throughout every course. She educates and enthuses with anecdotes of worldwide catering, experiences of fine dining and never fails to impress with her unending culinary creativity.

A surfing lesson is a great introduction to this exhilarating sport.  Lessons are given by professional surfers and take place on Caswell Bay or at Llengennith.  All the family can take part too - a great day out.

Whether a beginner or an experienced horse rider, the thrill of mounting up and riding off onto Gower’s glorious heritage coastline will stay with you forever. Ride along the miles of sandy beaches, magnificent limestone cliffs, salt and freshwater marshes and breathe the fresh air whilst experiencing a welcome freedom from your busy lifestyle.

Pennard Castle, built around the 13th Cenury, overlooks Three Cliffs valley and the Bay beyond.  It's commanding position ultimately led to its downfall as it was engulfed in sand and abandoned in the early 1400's, along with the village which had grown around it.  The ruin of St Mary's church alongside the Castle can still be seen and remained in use until 1532.

Guided by professional qualified crew with excellent local knowledge, you will encounter a wealth of marine wildlife, fascinating local history (from prehistoric bone caves to tales of smugglers) and a unique thrill as we skim across the open water.

Just a short stroll from Gower Accommodation, is Gower Heritage Centre.

Based around an historic 800-year-old water mill, the complex has craft workshops, children's puppet theatre, tea rooms, and a new Woollen Mill.  Activities include wood turning, willow making, coracle lessons, and expert walking tours of Gower and Swansea.

Our cottages and apartment will accommodate up to 24 people, so are ideal for groups of golfers.  With our first hand knowledge of all the local courses, and personal contacts therein, we can organise rounds of golf for your party.  Pennard Golf Club is a stones throw away and boasts some breathtaking views over Three Cliffs Bay and Oxwich Bay beyond.

We can also arrange for breakfast to be served to you before you go off for the day, and evening meals can be organised either at the accommodation or in local pubs.
